Dr. Mary Wilde, the host of PARENTING WELL, is an integrative pediatrician and owner of Imagine Pediatrics Behavioral Health and Wellness. She is is the author of Faithful Nurturing: Mothering from the Heart to the Heart and has a new book, Compassion Parenting: Raising Kids with Heart in a Global World coming out in early 2022. She is the mom to 8 boys, which at the time of this post range in age from 4 to 20.

We discussed ADHD and some alternate therapies and considerations. I wanted to offer a giveaway, but we did not have a way to answer calls during the show, so here it is! I have am offering a “Tough Topics in Parenting” class on Saturday mornings from 9 to 10 am on May 5, 12, and 19 at my office. The first six individuals to call and leave a message with name, phone # and email address will be able to attend for free! Topics we will cover include: 1) setting family boundaries surrounding media, 2) talking to kids about sex, and 3) building/repairing relationships with children. We may also add specific topics according to questions/ requests of enrollees. The class is limited to 12 individuals. It will be a small group setting with both presentation and discussion. Another way to obtain free enrollment is to share the post (to friends or public) about the class from the Imagine Pediatrics Facebook page AND invite 3 local friends to join you (via FB, email, or text) with documentation.
